Two years ago I purchased a S&W 642 in 38 spl +P. Was doing a lot of shooting. So I purchased a S&W 22LR on the same platform.
It was a lot cheaper to shoot. Sure glad I did . I also got a lot of ammo at the same time. Did the right thing at the right time, lucky I guess.

What makes you think he's telling the truth about only marking it up $5? I guess if you knew the guy you might believe him. Could just be something he tells folks to not seem like he's gouging.

That raises a question though, are manufacturers and wholesalers raising their prices right now? I don't fault anyone for selling their product at a price the market will allow, but there is a lot of unknowns when it comes to ammo pricing.

He has always had a $5 mark up and always will- I been buyin guns and ammo at that pawn shop for 10 years. I take it as a yes- who ever is the middle man is getting the big hike- his wholesale supplier TL Guy

Yer right leftlane just checked out the 2a warehouse supposedly 6 million 9mm in stock roughly buck ana half to 2 bucks a round Outdorrslimited got a pile of ammo too funny i could buy 340 weatherby ammo 10 bucks a box cheaper then 30-30s neither had 22's their price was .30 to .40 cents/shell Check out Ammoseek if you want to know where all the ammo is
