In a town 10 miles east of me is a little service station that still pumps your gas, washes your windshield and for the ladies, they will check the oil. How many of you know of such a place in this day and age. Plus they are usually a couple of cents cheaper on their gas. Like walking back in time.

Station by the house still has free air. Though that might go by the wayside if people dont stop leaving the hose laying on the ground!!!!!

i don't remember free air, but a station in town had a sign that said , air is free electric is not.

I have seen a few places in north Idaho that charged for their air. Most are free but back in the day that most have been referring to they were service stations not gas stations.
I seldom put air in at a gas station I might put some in here at home to limp the car or truck to the tire shop. There they fill them up or repair them for free, while I listen to Song's of Rodeo Life or Horsepower by Chris Ledoux on my CD player. Maybe it ain't as bad as some might think living here even if gas is $2.35 a gallon.
