I planned to take it easy this year and not put out much. But with as crazy as this world may get prolly isn't a great time to rely on buying from stores. So started planning a large garden again for this year. Prolly end up being close to an acre

That is a big one ! I would say I probably get close to around 1/2 acre if you add all the beds together. I am going to do 1/2 acre of pumpkins for selling as well this year.

I have always planted all sweet corn at the same time.
Selecting different varieties can easily yield a 4 week harvest.

I'm probably adding a couple 4x8 experimental beds. Think I'm gonna try a couple muscadine vines in with my main garden which is about 20x25. My garden is more for snacking than main food source.

I am planning to cut my grocery bill down by 90% or better so the garden is going to get bigger and What I can't can or preserve in other ways I'll give away to folks that need it.

My usual acre then going to put in some raised beds this year. Going to cut back on the sweet corn though.

I did 3/4 of an acre for 3 years (plus my one garden) with all the produce being donated through United Ministries. That was really too much work for me with limited volunteer help. I have two gardens now and they total about 1/4 of an acre. Will be trying some pole and trellis stuff this year to use space better and make weeding and harvest easier too.

My folks grew their own veggies when I was a kid but all I ever get is weeds. Produce aisle for me. The size varies depending on the market.

Bigger than I can easily handle. At the house the garden is about 30 by 50 and the one at the folks place is about 40 by 40. Then my parents have one we help with too. That one must be 50 by 100.
