I was planning on growing corn this year in a chunk of land where we don't have hay growing. The corns mostly for the deer and to draw in any vermin as a bonus to the face and maybe Ill pick some could cobs for myself and my family. Does anyone have any experience on this sort of thing?

Sweet corn or field corn? Do a soil test ASAP so you will know how to fertilize. Corn needs a lot of N.
