Seen a loner Canada goose on the ice here yesterday the local marina here in town holds a bunch over the winter. Missouri River was open in places last week when I crossed it people feed them no reason to go south. My neighbor had a flock of snows and blues all summer at his place they did go south, I’m wondering if they will show back up this spring again.

330 is that the area below the Pine city dam
Seems every open spot on the creeks and rivers around has geese and often ducks over wintering this year

Beautiful picture! We generally have geese year around here, the cricks and rivers seems to always have some open water. I also see lots of robins at the ranch in the heavy timber/brush areas. Here are couple of picture from a week or so ago. Lots of geese around.

When I was a kid, they all flew South ***snake river Thought so I go by there a couple times a month and you will often see not only geese but ducks and swans as well
