What is everyone’s thoughts on the current ammo, primer, powder etc.. shortage ??
I think the fix is in, if ammo manufacturers are flat out producing it, where is it going ? The brick and mortar store shelves are empty, the online stores are empty. Heck, runnings took ammo off from their website. I’ve signed up on several websites for notification when it’s back in stock, I hear crickets ?

If your short you didn't learn your lesson very well last dem president. Ive got more ammo than I've ever had. Started a year and a half ago and last order was pre-covid. Knew the election could cause problems, luckily got it all before covid hit.

Ammunition will soon be 50% higher due to H.R.5717 - Gun Violence Prevention and Community Safety Act of 2020, which are new democrat overlords have promised to pass. You'll have to pass a background check, be recorded as the purchaser and pick the ammunition up in person too.

That’s what I love about this site, post a thread and there’s always someone who makes assumptions. Where did my post say I was short of ammo ? jesh, I asked what people’s thoughts were about the current shortage ? Do you have any thought on my question ? If not why did you reply to the thread ?

You asked for my thoughts in your first sentence. I gave you my thoughts on the shortage. I didn't make an assumption on you being short, I just said"if your short". Unwind a little, we're good.

This again? How many times per week do we need a thread on this? Its been answered in all the other threads. Its really not complicated, and no “fix is in”.

I even saw new 9mm on the shelf last week some ammo is coming in , but when any seen is bought , the guy who had 50 rounds in his possession for the last 10 years now needs 500 because who knows when he will find it again

500 x 40 million is 20 billion , that is years of production

If I get off five shots before I get taken out I'll feel good about it.

What is going on is that as soon as ammo & reloading components hit the shelves people buy it up so it will be a while until there is inventory..like maybe years.

The best plan is to find a way to network and join in the buying up, see ANY ammo/reloading stuff and buy it up....trade it for what you need.....or sell it for 'current prices' so you can pay the current prices for what you need.

You best believe that things can get worse.
