Leftlane, my wife loves Sig Sauer pistols, she would carry one every day, if she owned guns.
I personally prefer Springfield for a semi-automatic, and if I ever buy a gun, I would probably buy a Springfield then a Sig Sauer.
But, I don’t own a gun. I can't imagine wanting or needing to own a gun ! Too dangerous ! I know I only use a spear

Yup, as I stated, not a Kimber fan. However, I guess I'm a Ruger fan. Never owned a Ruger (A I had quite a few before the boating accident) that didn't work flawlessly out of the box. Never had a misfire, a failure to feed, a stovepipe worn out or broken part on any Ruger be it a rifle or handgun. All of the accurate.

Here we have a 2 year prison term tacked on to any felony committed while in possession of a firearm in Milwaukee the first thing they seem to do is drop the gun charge if your crime involved anything else . al those 2 year mandatory additions would add up to not being able to let them back on the street in 4 months
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I have a Kimber 30-06 which was given to me as a token for appreciation. I have got it sighted in but don't hunt with rifle but seems to be a fine rifle.
To bad for a negative from the VP of Kimber Arms.

FORMER VP of Kimber... They parted ways with this toolbox last July. He doesn't speak for Kimber.
Wonder if there may be some hard feelings behind his little editorial.
(I don't own a Kimber and have no dog in the fight other than the 2A... But facts can help with the perspective.)

I guess Springfield Armory is good to go now? Always liked what they produce in rifles and pistols. I never got on board with Kimber, over priced and I never really dug the 1911 platform enough to buy one. I've owned a Kimber Warrior, a ported Springfield .45 and a Colt 1911. All were decent guns.
