The top pic, the center white car is a 57 chevy, you can tell bythe two rockets on the hood. Looks to be a two door by the length of the door. The wagon on the right looks to be a 57 also, but has been hit in the hind end, looks like the DS fin is intact, but the offside has been hurt.

the bottom pic, the coral colored lookes to be the front of a 58, but hard to say for sure, just can't see enough to be certain. It's a goldmine that is fast fading, at any rate!

Didn’t have my boots and it was a bit soft when I tried to get closer. Have to wait until tomorrow. That is a ‘57 wagon on the right in that first pic.

Them your old rides Hobbie? Lol. Don't find many scrap vehicles that old anymore. I know a guy that goes around and buys them in woods like that and parts out anything he can sell on the internet

And if you can't salvage anything else, check under the seats. May be a couple silver coins there.

Exactly. Tap out any dents and metalfinish back to brand new. Bumpers can be rechromed, and lots of new parts availible for shoe box chevys! My first cah was a 32 ford roadster, chopped and channeled. Then a 55, then a 57 wagon. 55 would run in the low 13's in street trim, and 12.60's on the strip, annd the 57 had a 425 hp 396 in it, that I built from scratch, and was a terror on the street! Loved those days of irresponsibilitys!

Any value to those? Parts for returns on other cars? There's an old Pontiac I could pull out of the brush if it had any value.

You were lucky. We couldn't afford new cars when we got our license. whistle

I couldn't either! When I graduated HS, 55's were ten years old, and lots of them in the junk yards. Everyone of the cars I mentioned, were castaways that I bought for a song and dance, and built into something!

The farmer that has me trapping here runs a Super Stock ‘55 turning 11.90s.

Things have changed in the 56 years since I had my 55 running. I still have the short block and heads from that old engine. Kinda sentimental!
