I would think you'd get a lot of splashes on bone, but I've never used them, so my thoughts ain't worth much lol

I shot a few yotes with them out of a 25-06. Devastating to say the least. Without any exits. My hunting partner was using a 243 and had the same results.

Then we tried them in 22-250, and a 20 cal. he had. Not worth a hoot. Straight on they are great, any angle or hit a rib and you have a massive hole.

He was the best gun smith I have ever known and he kept trying them in different cals. He finally decided they were good in heavier cals. Cals that will go through bone no matter what. In lighter cals they "splash" on impact.

Side note, that was back in the late 90's, they may have changed since then.

I have found that any bullet with varmint on it is not good for fur.

Interesting no exit with the 25-06. Bet they were a mess inside ha!
I know I have 250 of the fifty gr. Can’t remember on the thirty six gr.

They are pretty similar to the Hornady V Max in construction and performance. I found them pretty accurate in my 223R

Times two on bigger caliber I also use a 25-06 because of the wind drift and long shots in wyoming good on coyote I have had a couple gut shots not pretty and upper spine but great otherwise.

Three bullets I won’t use.

V-max.
Varmint Grenades.
And Sierra blitzkings.

swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

if your intention is to try and cut poor coyote in half than they are excellent, if you hope to save fur dont bother i tried loading them slow and fast and both ways all i saw was fur flying in the scope no matter the angle.

I shot a yote with a varmint grenade and blew a softball size hole in the ribs-all meat no vitals! The yote ran off, I had to track it nearly 100yds to find it still alive in a brush pile. I have had good luck with V-max and Blitzkings though. But, I may just have been lucky.
