find the square footage just like you would in calculating shingles for a roof , just bigger number then divide by 43,560

you figure the rectangle and the triangles separate then add square footage

Google earth can compute the area for you if you can identify the property on the aerial view.

Yes 43560 Sq Ft in an acre. Just not sure on a 3 sided piece of all different measurements.
I had a good calc bookmarked but did some house cleaning and I must have gotten rid of it. The one mentioned (calc) here I used and it was right on what I had figured so everything is good.

See if the County it is in has "GIS" mapping data, usually on the Assessors site. There is usually a tool on those sites for doing all sorts of area calculations.

If the triangle has one 90 degree corner, just measure the 2 legs of the 90 degree sides and divide by 2. That will give you the square footage of the triangle
