Over the years I saw many threads ripping the USPS on T-Man, I never said much because I experienced very few problems. It seems like an avalanche of problems now. I've had a couple mild complaints from eBay buyers wondering where their item was the past month or two. Things that I was expecting were taking a long time for delivery. I ordered some padded envelopes from the USPS website on Jan 15th and today I received an email that my order was shipped, it will probably take another week or two to receive it. I sent a hearing aid to be repaired to my audiologist last Friday, his office is about 60 miles from our home. As of yesterday he has not gotten it yet. I expected delays for a couple weeks leading up to Christmas but I would think things should be getting better know
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Yep Nittany, the good ole' USPS has been on a roll the last few months, you remember what happened to that Walter Arnold 1st edition Fox Trapping book you mailed me a while back.
Now, I've had a Harding's hardcover pleasure and profit book (Fox Trapping) ordered off eBay, and stranded within the USPS system since December 26th!
Starting to lose all hope on that one, Lol.

My wife worked for the USPS for 32 years, 22 years as a clerk/city carrier, and her last 10 years as a Postmaster. While working as a clerk in a medium size post office, an employee in the same office who was the union rep, all he did was crab and moan to the postmaster, about everything work related. My wife stated he was the laziest POC , wussy she ever worked with, and to top it off he was a retired Marine. If it was to cold out side he whined , if he had too much mail to carry he always cried for help, etc.. It always made her wonder how he ever made it through boot camp ?
There are many good employees in the USPS working hard to deliver the mail in a timely manner, it only takes a few lazy hiding behind union rules employees who can never be fired unless they are caught stealing, to slow down the mail.

I avoid usps whenever I can.......incompentecy running rampant. folks packages and mail winding up at the wrong addresses.....I never did get my Christmas gift my wife orderd......yet the post office was adamant that she received it. another fella in town has had mail, intended for 8 other individuals wind up at his house in a week

I sent some important papers from Indiana to Iowa, 3 day signature required. It took 22 days to get delivered. When I called after a couple weeks the person at the local post office said the 3 day didn't matter and it was probably sitting in a warehouse and was never scanned. I will be sending important stuff FedEx or UPS from now on.

I've had quite a few problems with the USPS. Took three weeks to get my order of trapping supplies from F&T one time as it was sitting out west waiting for it to be shipped to me, F&T shipped it to them the day I ordered it. We sold our house a year and a half ago and rented a place until last September when we purchased a new place. We still kept our PO BOX the same place as it has been for 40 years. The problem now is that UPS will sometimes deliver packages to the PO BOX instead of our physical address even though I use my Physical address as shipping address. My wife still works in the town that we get our mail in it's 30 miles away. The problem is the post office sends our packages back because we don't have a physical address there anymore. I had words with them over this with no good out come. I was told if you use standard shipping that the UPS will sometimes drop your packages at your PO BOX . So now I request UPS delivery only to my physical address and pay extra shipping. I am putting up a mail box this spring for rural delivery after the ground softens. I had too much going on to put up a mail box before. Moving, heating system install and washer/dryer hook up moved up out of the basement before hunting season was my priority.
The bitterness of poor quality last a lot longer than the sweetness of low price

My niece's Christmas present is sitting here at the house, they hauled it all the way to Spring, TX where she lives then hauled it all the way back to my house, no clue why. They did a steller job though getting mail in ballots in on time and that's all that matters, now they can get 40 billion dollar bail out AGAIN.
UPS i quit over 20 years ago and won't ever attempt to ship ANYTHING through them again. Fed ex just guess's at where stuff goes up here in the hills and drops it off at random house's. Might get it/might not with them.

Wasn't it just a couple of months ago that Democrats were touting mail-in voting as "perfectly safe, timely and reliable.....?" Pete
