My conversations are usually only one word. Starts with f, very loud with exclamation points, when something goes bigly wrong. I was told that what can be worst is 3 people in a remote camp for long stretch. Eventually one feels left out and starts brooding and downhill from there. Pick your partners wisely I guess

I like how the first guy quit because he was being “stalked” by a bear. The bear did come up to his shelter, but it’s body language obviously said “I’m curious about this new thing” and it ran off as soon as he made some noise. Someone should tell him if that bear was truly stalking him, he would never have lived to whine about it lol.

it's not fake.. And yes the contestants have certainly improved as the seasons go by.

The season that is on Prince of Wales island, if pay attention to the back ground on some of the panoramic shots, you can see older clear cuts. Which probably means roads will be nearby. It is actually a good series, but made for tv. Anyone know where the next season is going to be?

I think you mean Vancouver Island, where 3 seasons were filmed. Yes, there are roads, development and residents there. In fact when one contestant called for a night rescue they drove the logging roads and hiked in to her. The goal is to have them "isolated" from a practical standpoint, to keep them from bumping into other people or development. The buffer only has to be a few miles. They don't hike around much, and obviously if they hike out they're disqualified.
