Old Forrester rye is my current favorite. Bulleit is also spectacular in my book. A lot of affordable Canadian whiskies are very heavy in rye. Most bourbons that say they are heavy in rye, like Wild Turkey 101, have less than 20% rye in their mash bill. I can’t remember for sure but I think it’s 15%. I actually love Wild Turkey 101 for old fashioneds, but if you really want to taste the rye and not the bourbon you have to look for 90% or more rye in the mash bill. They can get really pricey so I don’t have much experience with expensive ryes. I do like rye or brandy in my hip flask.

Angels Envy rye is quite nice. One of my favorites. Whistle Pig is another I pour on occasion. Bulliet is solid as is Weisers.
Crown is still a big hit with me and mine.
