I have a friend that has been using these for ice fishing- swears by them. Has anyone tried them? A little pricy.

No experience with Zippo hand warmer. I do have the little red rechargeable Thermocell brand my son bought me. Their ok but I don't think they stay warm near as long as they are advertised to. I'm a parson who always has cold hands so my idea of run time might be shorter than someone with normal Paws.
I'd be interested to know about the Zippo's too. I have carried a Zippo light most my life.

I have and use a Coopa which is similar, and also swear by it for my arthritic hands when ice fishing or stand sitting. These are about $25 dang well worth it.

Wasn't the original Zippo hand warmer a metal one that ran on lighter fluid. Slipped it into a red bag?

That was the Jon-e handwarmer, I got one and seemed to get more lighter fluid on me than in the thing.

I have a zippo hand warmer that runs off lighter fluid. It works great! It’s newer one and I have not had it leak yet.

In addition to smelling like lighter fluid- I remember those things burning a hole in my pocket on the way out to my stand and then holding an ice cold piece of stainless 1 hr later. I still have the fancy belt and lure holder if you wanted to smell like lighter fluid and Pete Rickard's Indian Buck Lure.

We've used Menards brand battery hand warmers for years and been reliable.

Find them on sale at the end of the year. Many people make them now.

I think any battery one will be better than a lighter fluid one, much simpler and easier to use.
