if a law is made for confiscation and what will happen if only a few do it and most of us keep them. How will the government respond? I keep hearing the anti’s say they will only have to make an example of a few and then everybody will comply not to risk large fines and/or jail time plus the risk of losing families, homes and jobs. What do you think?

I don't know what percent of common sense gun owners will turn in their firearms. But, I know what percent of criminals will turn theirs in. Zero, None, Nada.

330 you really think that strategy will be effective? The gun owner registration began almost 30 years ago with Bill Clinton and the NRA.

I suspect it will be handled with a taxation instead of having someone show up at your door. Give them voluntarily or pay the financial price....applied to your taxes at the end of the year. Will take years and years to work itself out in court but the way things are going (in court) they might just win those court battles.

Before there can be a tax there has to be an inventory. Lots of states have no registration. Without registration there will need to be a door to door search. Registration will have to happen. Without a voluntary registration (few will comply rendering that ineffective) there will have to be a door to door search of known gun owners.

Unfortunately, we would all end up being criminals at the time if we do not comply.

They'll target the Fuds first through firearm hunting license. The Fuds will be peeved off at being singled out and start snitching on those the keep for other reasons.

I see on the News today that two FBI agents were kill while serving a warrant. Also a three others wounded.

This unfortunately will probably be what happens. People in general are sheep, do what they are told and believe what they are told. The last election proved that beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Look around and see who is wearing their masks in their own cars going down the road by themselves. These kool aid drinking dips, will.be the first to turn in or they don't own to start with. The ones with bidden bumper stickers also will turn in or tattle those that don't. Probably will be special privliges for those that tattle.
