For years even since I was in high school many years ago, I was told the national debt can only go so high before the economy completely crashes and never be resolved. So how many trillions of dollars in debt can this country handle before it happens? I never realized it could have even reached close to the number of trillions of dollars we have now. Why hasn't it crashed already?

Kermit has a point. One definition of bankrupt is when assets are less than liabilities. Another one is when the entity is unable to pay its debts as they become due. Under any definition, our country is bankrupt. Financially. You are seeing the final stages of the moral bankruptcy play out in politics and Hollywood.

When the bank says no, you can’t withdraw that much money. When the bank says is will take up to three weeks to officially close your account and get your money to you. When stimulus paid out could’ve put at last talley almost 30,000 in the pockets of every man woman and child in this country but how much has actually made into hands.

This country has been, is and will continue to be bankrupt and more than just monetarily. This should be an eye opener for everyone as to how our world turns. Nothing is holding up what is happening but it continues somehow to keep growing. Look at GameStop, it’s only good to mess with the stocks if you are part of the cabal, if you’re not look how fast that got “righted or fixed”.
