the Grocery store had bags printed with reduced grocery 99 cents they put ripe bananas and such in them and put them in a cart in the produce section in the isle near the back .

today it was a cart full of 99 cent bags of peppers , some a bit wrinkly

grabbed up 6 bags with about 8-10 peppers in a bag and we spent the afternoon cutting up peppers and freezing them

they also had bag full of tomatoes .99 made a big pot of chili with peppers and tomatoes.

Good deal. Right place at the right time.

I had to drive past a Dunhams sports yesterday so Stopped to see if they had any, anything

turkey loads , steel shot , 220 swift 2 boxes and 35 rem 2 boxes I actually though about you but shipping ammo is a pain.

I did get a pound of CFE-BLK on Tuesday , no primers

Im about burned out from the weekly checks. Bought about all the misc stuff i cared to. Now ill probably hold out and save cash until the things i really need start to come around. And that will probably be a while.

I hit the bargain bins at the Pig too.
If it's buttermilk, oven fried chicken is for supper.
If it's cream,chicken or pork marsala.
If it's a natural unprocessed cheese, expiration date means nothing.

Woodman's seems to have a bunch of good deals at times at least the one in Janesville

Generally, Woodmans is too big for me to navigate.
My Janesville circuit is Dunhams, Big Lots, Ross,F&F,Home Depot (for the veterans discount) and Menards.
I do check out the liquor store at Woodmans though (or perhaps that's obvious).

wife and I do Woodman's every 2 weeks the grocery list is printed and organized by area at the Janesville woodman's going to any other store messes up the flow , it is all what you get used to.

FF, sometimes Menards like Saturday , some times Home depot depends what I need.

CTR firearms is right over behind buffalo wild wings sometimes I go there (he is holding to no masks allowed in the store ) , Dunham's is generally a let down so I make it there maybe 1-2 times a year.
