Two Kentucky legislators are trying to reintroduce a red law again this year. Short version if the police or family members think you might hurt yourself or others they can go to court and remove your guns .You get them back when the court decides your no longer a threat.

I am bettin they never admit under any circumstances that you were not a threat at the time they rushed ya and therefore never cover the cost of your legal defense (offense?) to get them back.

Yup- you can tell it is all about grabbin guns and has nothing to do with savin lives. If a person is reported to be a danger to themselves and others anyone intent on saving a life would be wanting to at least temporarily detaining that person to be presented to a mental health expert for evaluation.

Instead, these traitorous basturds wanna grab the guns and ammo. I say give 'em the ammo first and yeet it Rapido!

Ya, "take the guns first due process later" 10 points and a gold star if you know who the quote is from.

Couple in the Dem minority tried it here in Tennessee last year and it got squashed. They put on a show of how it was the state Democratic Party just trying to show “genuine concern “ for veterans and they couldn’t understand why they weren’t getting more support. Good luck up there in Kentucky.

if they were truly concerned for your safety and the safety of others then they would put you on a Psych evaluation and not take your hammer away and pretend you couldn't hit your self in the head with a rock

I think the push should be for better access to mental health care so people would be less likely to escalate to firearm use against themselves or others. But I guess that would entail compassion and a budget item.

Hopefully it will go no where I do know that Andy dislikes my district Rep Maddox and senator Thayer which is pro gun.
