Nice!
My best find was just after I killed a turkey, had him slung over my shoulder and had walked about 10 yards and it was laying in front of me, right up on top.
I laughed and figured this must be a good spot.
I proceeded to kill about 10 birds from there over the following years.

While checking my beaver sets this morning I was walking the edge of a cornfield and looked down and saw a piece of a arrowhead, and I started looking around a little bit and found two small ones both had been hit with a disc, but then I found one good sized one that was almost complete, I love finding these things and can't help but imagine the time they had in making them From what I've read, that's the older ones compared to the black flint ones. Maybe a couple 1000 years compared several hundred years old??? Used to be one of my past times as a teenager. Imagine having to kill a east Tennessee buck with one of those points.

Not trying to hijack your post, but my cousin found this in buncombe county, NC, not too far from you. Said it seems to be from soapstone?

I’m Not trying to hijack this either, but this was my coolest find while beaver trapping this year. Right below a beaver dam during the first week of January.
Ave don't go where the beaver don't flow
