A judge just ordered the hunt to take place this month.
Need michigan to follow suit now.

Wisconsin didn't get it through their governor, but was ordered by the court. We need the same to happen here. Wouldn't you love to see Walz and his sidekick Ellison ordered to have a Wolf season.

DNR will probably appeal, and stall until the end of the month.

The judge denied a stay for the pending appeal. The hunt will happen. DNR is due back in court in six days to report their progress on holding the hunt.

I don't see Michigan getting it with the way the political garbage is here.

The number of wolves in MN needs to be drastically reduced. The DNR is not being truthful about their numbers.

Porky Pig and his pit bull, Ellison will do anything to stop a season on wolves in MN. After all wolves only affect that part of the state populated by Rocks & Cows.

WIDNR will appear and offer all manner of mumbo-jumbo stating all their action to inaction. And what is the court going to do? Hold the WIDNR in contempt of court ... jail DNR management til they comply or til the end of the month which ever comes first ... fine the DNR for each day they are in non-compliance (to be paid with Wisconsin's sportsman dollars)?? I don't thing so, no repercussions for failure to act!

not to many people have any faith it will happen in Nov , a new injunction will block it by then. kill as many as can be killed as fat a possible it will probably be 8 more years before another season happens.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

The Wisconsin NRB is having an emergency meeting on Feb. 15 to determine a quota for the Wolf season.

The DNR was accepting "applications" for a seat on their "wolf management advisory council",like they don't know what groups are going to dominate this farce.Plus, giving credibility to the Chippewa tribe perspective(they're adamantly opposed to a season, they say the wolves are their "brothers")all but guarantees the outcome. The governor and her AG have both said no season.Unbelievably, there are some sportsmen who think because of this council ,which they think will give us a chance to have our voices heard,is going to give us a good shot at management. Some people live in a fools paradise.

Maybe this is a chance at running a true quota system....Everyone gets a tag with their small game license. Set the goal and require same day online registration after harvest. Season gets closed at the end of the month or the quota is met...which ever happens first.

Well since we have a continuous hunting season on coyotes maybe we can hunt wolves all year too.

So are they going to have time to do it the right way and have it fair for everyone ? Referring to the preference points , Everyone would have to send in for another point . I dont think there is enough time for them to do it properly. . This hurry up job is is just going to be a mess, all the way around . I agree with Beav , leave it till Nov.
