No. Skunks will eat baby mink if they locate the nest.
Mink in February and March will often recoil from mink musk from mink taken in the fall. Mating time mink smell different than falltime mink.

Yeah i figured they hated skunk cause the mink trapping books i have they all talk abou not using skunk lires and scents cause it will scare mink away

I have caught a pile of mink in Alaska using skunk based lures. Maybe southern mink don’t like skunk but northern mink that have never smelled a skunk will come to skunk smell quite easily.

I heard of people using skunk lures fir mink in the colder areas of north america but the books i read said never use skunk its supposed to scare them i dont know ill try mink sets with some hellfire lure and some without and see what works better

I cought mink in the leaning ploe set for martin (back when they ware legal in Maine) When the sets were made near a stream or lake.
We used Beaver for bait and my shunk bace call lure.
