I agree as well. No possible way for me to put together a proper hunt prior to the end of February.

Make it three days. Folks that want to do it are paying attention. Don't want to partake in the short season, put in for a preference point and wait for next year. All it does is give you better chance come November.

While not ideal, this falls on the department. We would have had all kinds of time to do it right had they just knocked out these issues before season like requested and how they normally do it. Since they refused to so it then, they should be forced to jump through some hoops to make it work.

I'm ready to walk out the door on this sucker tomorrow, given it doesn't require prefrence points. This is the one animal, if I was lucky enough to harvest one especially from my home state would be the pinnacle of my hunting life. I know that's funny to some folks but its always been a dream of mine.

Draw will begin Feb16 through Feb.20. You will be able to find out that nite and begin hunting the next day till the end of Feb.
