But they don't float when you leave the drain plugs out....

He was out with at least one other rig around 7:30 pm crossing the lake when the ice gave way and he went down in 25 ft of water. He managed to get out of the machine but that was all they found him on the bottom near the cat. His buddies came out with an ice auger and there was 3 feet of ice except for where he went in was only a few inches. Just a small patch of bad ice. Methane pocket, spring or something. Apparently nobody knew there was a bad spot on that lake. I got this info 2nd hand but from a very reliable source. you can vote your way into socialism, but you will have to shoot your way out.
