Typical sheeple like response [/quote] Anti-Gov Sheeple, might want to take a look in the mirror!!!! Everyone knows how you feel but you have to continue beating a dead horse. Stick with your conspiracy theories and leave reality to those who can handle it.

"Lol, prolly the dumbest thing I ever witnessed."
Jury's out, but I kinda agree. We have no idea of the side effects and long term effects, and know for certain it doesn't stop you from getting covid so I'm on the "ill pass for now" crowd. After all I've been seeing and hearing I'm in that crowd too.

Effective at reducing the symptoms...nothing more. They’re trying to keep people out of hospitals and off vents. How would you even pretend to be able to measure that in a percentage? How do you know how bad their symptoms would have been without the vaccine? Some folks have no symptoms at all while others die.

Truth is nobody on either side of the isle knows anything about covid. It’s all opinions and hearsay. I’m not getting the vaccine cause I don’t think I need it and I’m skeptical of what side effects it could have.

All vaccines trick your body into creating the antibodies to fight off disease. You have those antibodies in your blood for a while, maybe several months. But, you body also remembers how to create those antibodies. Your immune system now has the blueprints for antibodies.
When you are exposed to the real virus in the future, you have a much better chance of winning because you can start making antibodies right away and start fighting right away. The fight is going to be easier, but not necessarily easy. The virus will still invade your cells and start making copies of itself. Your immune system will often respond so quickly and win so quickly that you don't even feel sick. But that's not always the case. Either way, a vaccine isn't really "immunity". Your body is still going to have to fight the virus - any virus.

^^^^^^. But what if an injection into the body's entire cellular system is in some fashion different, or even undesirable, than what's maximally beneficial for antibody production aimed at an antigen which enters our body via the respiratory tract? Could be quite fine. Could be quite different.
That's why length of study is a benefit.

And that's why I'm waiting for the "traditional" vaccine to be approved. This new mRNA vaccine is probably fine and I'm sure that someday all vaccines will work that way. But it's a new enough idea that I want to wait and see what the longer term effects are.
