If there is a worse way to prepare a slab of beef, I have never seen it. Whoever though this up should be executed immediately.

Don't know about beef but I do dearly love venison tenderloin pounded out thin breaded and fried smothered in white gravy.

Not all steaks are equal. You can take a poor cut of meat, beat the heck out of it with a meat mallet, batter that puppy up and fry it. Then put it next to a pile of taters and cover both with gravy. You now have a great steak that otherwise would have been a burger. I love me some chicken fried steak with a heap of mash taters and gravy. smile

Now I might be inclined to agree with you if someone was chicken frying a sirloin, prime rib, or other great cut of meat. crazy

I like it... Although I had one today that was not great. For some reason they spiced it up way too much.

Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

Finster you need to make a trip down here on a Sunday. Homemade chicken fried steak from home raised beef, mashed potatoes, angel biscuits, green beans with bacon added and a ton of white gravy. Makes me light headed thinking about it!!!
