A buddy and I have differing opinions on the color of this beaver. I say its blond he says it's not. What say you?

It looks blonde to me. Looks like some I get around here, and those I caught in South Dakota were about that color.

Western grade.

After perusing my grading manual it appears to be a western ordinary,or perhaps pale.

Would be cool to get an extra pale. Are there any albino beavers?

I am partial to black beaver I once caught 4 not a hundred yards from my home

I've caught some pales here in NC. Their feet and tails have a pink hue to them. Their eyes are dark, so they're not albinos.

Here's one between two regular ones. If I remember correctly, this beaver got me a TOP LOT Western certificate.
