Anyone ever try these? I just ordered some and we’re recommended by the tannery I ordered from.
Currently have a seal in the Trubond pickle. Pretty impressive how the lipa solve pulls the grease out so far.

Nope haven't tried that... I use TruBond products through and through. Yep that Lipa-Solve77 works well on the coon. I have been leaving some of my winter coon in the pickle for 5 day instead of 3.

Good to know.
I talked to one of the reps at trubond and they recommended doing a separate degreasing bath after 3 days in the pickle and then back in the pickle for a few days.

I also use trubond products. I have left pelts in the pickle for way longer than the minimum due to things coming up. If the pH stays around 2 they will be fine in the pickle for a long time.

You probably talked with Justin... Some of the coon I have been doing of late are really thick and I have tendon damage in both hands, which causes me to lose the touch I have always had when putting pressure on the fleshing knife. I have found I can tell by look if the neck and upper back are still to thick. I have tried using the wire wheel and end up being covered w/ flesh from head to toe and still not having the desired effect. Justin reccomended that when I puul them out of Pickle bath if they appear to be to thick to grind them down. But instead of using the wire wheel, I use the tool below, which is planning rasp. I through the hide on the fleshing beam even though wet and do a few calculated cuts w. the rasp and it has proved to be working well. I think it would work well on beaver, but can't be sure.
After rasping, I put the pelt back in the pickle bath over night or longer.

You need to tell the people that have Triple Threat Tanning... if the don't have any advertisement other than on Fake Book they are losing business. I tried to find it online and couldn't find anything except what is on FB... and I am no longer on that commie's project... and can't buy anything that is only offered on there.I made 5 different searches... and I am not looking to get a full body tan or anything of a personal nature... I did finally find the FB and the the link we are on here at Trapperman...

I was going to see if there was anything that I might like to try, but I guess not.

I ordered directly from Maverick Tannery in Saskatchewan. Great folks to deal with.
I wasn’t able to find much online either. ( believe its a fairly new product)Only way I knew about it was a friend of mine that does a fair amount of tanning said to give them a shout.
They also sell lutan there and say the syntan/altan is producing a nicer finish. And the customers that have tried it love it.
I haven’t tried either or yet but I hope to have my order by mid week.
Will update with tanning a couple of smaller beaver to start with.

Well so far so Good with the triple threat. I tanned a beaver and I re-tanned the seal
I did a couple of weeks ago. Soft and nice white leather. Currently working a section of bear I alum tanned last year that didn’t turn out. Put it in the pickle de grease bath and then tanned. It’s oiled and hanging to dry now. Breaking a bit as it dries. It looks exceptionally good!
