...going on??
Listening to the tv talking heads and their guests and all of this "we have to reopen the schools" stuff is getting old. Some states have already done that without much of a problem. I think the largest state is Florida if Texas isn't doing it. South Dakota did for it for the 2020-21 school year and its gone well. The Soo Foo school district, largest in the state, had various step plans in place in case the virus spread in the schools took off. As far as I know, SFSD never closed any of their schools and only had to deal with a few classrooms in specific schools, even when covid was hot here. Some smaller district schools have gone back to distance learning for a week or two but nothing "full time".
Just wondering how many states have most of their public schools "open" to in-person attendance or at least the option of such learning...?

Open here but communist ran city's like Birmingham are still shut down. So not state wide exactly but most are open. Same with business's, mask wearing, etc.
Oddly i can't tell the difference in the communist county's with strict mask wearing and the American county's where hardly anyone wears them, numbers about the same which shows mask wearing is just for show and doesn't protect you.

We been open sense September. My wife and two girls are teachers. They had football and playing basketball now. Yep, same here for high school sports. Football season had some holes in the schedule but haven't heard much about the basketball and girls' volleyball having problem getting their schedules done.

We have been open since September mask if you want them if not fine. Football, basketball, volleyball all mostly normal. I think the two big cities in Kansas are only going a few days a week but the Libs run them. I can’t imagine the damage being done kids education in places that are still shutdown.

Ours are doing half day in person learning 4 days a week. I honestly think it’s working better than full time school

Full time in-school here...only thing closing it is cold and snow lately. With all of the mask, handwashing, and distancing, its interesting how flu and colds are almost non existent this winter. I think thst was an interesting positive.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.
