With the increasing illegal entries over the southern borders in recent weeks, this severe cold weather has made it Job #1 for Border Patrol to assist those who are out in the elements and ill prepared for what is happening with no end in sight these next few days. It's all over our news in south Texas. Even the Rio Grande Valley is severe cold right now. Single digits in many places. Multiple 911 calls from Brooks county today alone but cell phones only triangulate to within "miles" so it's not easy for our guys and gals in BP uniform.
There will be deaths. We pray not too many as we salute our BP agents who go above and beyond (as usual).

If these folks did have warm clothes the coyotes would steal them and take them to their own families. I am not for open borders at all but the vast majority of these immigrants have nothing at all and that includes a better option

Being in the Ag community and only a state away from the border -- the ones that aren't drug related and come accross the border to work and make a better life are mostly good people. The work ethic is strong but the knowledge level is not quite there. The next generation in is where there is alot of trouble. Kind of like here. I spoke to a farmer the other day and he said that he is not hiring any more white boys. I had to agree with him and said " yeah they don't make white boys like they used to". Our entitled youngsters just don't have the drive or ambition to pay their dues and move up the ladder --- If they show up after the 3rd day they may be a "keeper".
