Seriously though I've long wondered if a hi lift jack could be used to pull stakes. There ya go. That sound miserable to have to tote around and use that kind of equipment to catch 30’ish pound animals. Rube Goldberg would be proud!

Unless you drove these in a field of crops, don't bother. Reuse them again next year. They will have settled in even better.

I bet it would work fine but for me to get that around wouldn't be fun. I don't use stakes and if I do I drive one and set there in the same place again the next year, I never pull the few I drive. I trap water critters mostly so staking isn't a huge thing, I stake to logs or tree's etc. so it is less work and as effective.

I tried a high lift, when the ground is froze it didn't get it done A good hit with a hammer to loosen it first helps a lot, then hammer a slotted bracket under the head of the stake it will come out then.
