I sure hope things work out for them. I think they should look into moving to a friendlier state for a new facility.

Will they make a comeback? Yes. Will it last? Who knows. But one thing is certain. The cost of Remington guns, much like Marlin guns prior to the Remington buyout, will still be higher. They’ll be lumped into a category much like the pre-64 Winchester stuff. Which I still don’t fully understand why that was such a huge deal. Seriously. The model 70, I understand. There was definitely a change in “quality” on the bolts guns. But, the 94’s... nothing. And before someone asks, yes, I’ve played with both. Before transitioning to strictly archery, I owned both pre/post 64. Nothing different in the lever guns. I’m betting that the new Remington company will make a better product than the junk that was flying out the door the last few years anyway. QC went downhill on the newer stuff. Rant over.
I keep desperately hoping that one day someone will call me "Sir" without adding "please calm down" or "you're causing a scene."

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I think there is going to be widespread disappointment in the new Remington line.
I have nothing clever to put here.
