Finster OP trapper Joined: Mar 2013 Posts: 17,023 Fredonia, PA.	John Wayne accepting an Oscar for the movie True Grit (My favorite western) and probably one of the best westerns of all time. This was a man. There is something to be said of his absolute humbleness as he makes his brief speech. Few if anyone could even come close to him today. I BELIEVE IN MY GOD, MY COUNTRY AND IN MYSELF.

That has gone by the wayside and made the oscars a joke. they give them out now as a political tool. Wasn't it the Oscars a couple years ago when Robert De Niro came out looking like a homeless person in some straggly beard and said, "F- Trump" then everyone swooned. No class anymore, no morals, and not even a care for their craft. Just disgusting. The days of John Wayne and Jimmie Stewart are long gone and will probably never return. I BELIEVE IN MY GOD, MY COUNTRY AND IN MYSELF.
