Neither Wolf nor Dog, by Ken Nerbin (sp). Stirs me very emotion you have.

Last Voyage of the Kurluck (sp). Unbelievable survival story of Bering Sea to NW Passage.

American Buffalo by Steve Rinella was a pretty good read.

I've read "A Crew of One", Eddie...and it *IS* a great read!

one might also read (REALLY read!) the US Constitution...it's truly a Crime Against Humanity; how far from its intention we've strayed. [read the Federalist Papers, among other documents if you dare].

[quote=Lugnut]Endurance by Alfred Lansing. Subtitled Shakleton's Incredible Voyage. It was published in 1959 and is long out of print but can be found at online bookstore such as ABE Books where I buy almost all my books. I got a first edition in good condition there for less than $10.00 including shipping.

That is a good one for sure.

It is. I wish I could remember who here recommended it so I could give him credit.

Eh...wot?

I think for trappers, Tom Miranda's new book Master Trappers is a must read. I really liked Watership down and Seabiscut. Was never a big reader of novels. I need to read more of them.

I would highly recommend Eric Collier's Three Against the Wilderness.
It takes place in British Columbia in the 1930's or so.
