250 years ago our ancesters took on the most powerful army in the world. Many died. What kind of man would turn his back on that? I say only a worthless man.
I will give money to whomever is fighting gun control in a real fashion. I prefer that to a gunfight. Gunfight should happen only if there is no alternative except to give government the tools to disarm us.
Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

Oh I expect I would die in such a conflict. My hope would be to take a few with me. Hope it doesn't come to this but am prepared to make that sacrifice if necessary. I hope there are plenty more who feel the same as I do. The few you take with you will be pawns and your death will be pointless, not remembered and have no positive affect on the world. Well that's what I keep running into when I fine myself in that checkers mind set. But I'm having trouble getting my chess strategy in order. I need some trust worthy groups of friends Never tell a friend anything you don't want an enemy to find out.

When Obummer was at the helm AR stuff sold like crazy items could not be found kind of like is at ammo today. That fear is not out there today I don’t understand why it’s not, the radical left is out to enslave rural Americans now. Sure some prices have gone up but many items have not increased in price and are easily available still so why the change in attitude to the same or worse problems?

I am a life member, and this is just one more reason I will not be a life member of any organization again.
Zim Same here. And here. Lifer here since 1983 cause of shooting competitions since I could hold a gun. Later NRA certified Rifle an Shotgun Instructor, and Hunter/Trapper Education Instructor. They were helpful in those endeavors. Cut the donation crap out long ago.

New location new leadership is what most are hoping for now, when they stop saying “ oh crap” when the NRA gets involved I’ll give up on them then. Still the biggest hammer going at this time.

He has a sixty round drum in stock but I made it out of the store without it. More ammo tomorrow. Also picked up a green dot Sig sight.

I won't become a life member of any organization, because if I'm an annual member they have to keep me happy with their activities. With that being said, I've found that most people who become life members of an organization, do so because it's a bargain compared to a lifetime of annual dues. X2 Makes us more important to the organizations.

Finster it has been corrupt for decades. Run on the same playbook PETA uses. Pretend to support a controversial issue, beg for money, never really do anything except talk so as not to kill the golden goose.
If you dont think so, ask your yourself what supporting the NFA had to do with curtailing gangs and bank robbers. Ask yourself what stopping mail order gun purchases and putting age requirements on purchase had to do with the Kennedy assassination. Ask yourself what instacheck did to stop felons from purchasing, and what a bumpstock ban did to curtail semi conversions to autos. There are lots more NRA supported gun control just as stupid.
Money money money. All they have ever really been about. Wow, why is this the first I'm hearing of it? You should of said something sooner Danny. I can't believe you've never mentioned it before. lol

Wayne LaPierre needs to swing from a short piece of hemp.
He's crooked as they come and has been sucking the NRA dry for at least 30 years.
Maybe fix him up with Jeff Epstein's cell.
The rest of the NRA needs a thorough house cleaning.

I need some trust worthy groups of friends Enough people remembered Vicki and Sammy Weaver that lots of armed Americans decided to show up in support of the Bundy standoff... Did they all support Bundy's stance? I don't know... But enough eyes and guns were there that the feds decided there had better not be a shootout. J lives close enough to me that I would drive over and do the same for him just to make sure he gets his day in court to tell his side. Mike
