That was my idea too. Get enough of the masses to accept it makes it easier to implement. Someone, somewhere has paid for it along the line. It’s to the point now that just talking about it gets people fuzzed up because they or someone in their family is taking the bait.

As with many things, create a desire, a demand, and then you've created a dependency. Follow the money trail.

After you hear the I lost my wallet story from people over the years looking for ministerial aid along the interstate needing such things as gas, food or a motel room. The one thing is not one of those unfortunate people ever tried to repay the fund back not once as it was never the real intention to begin with.

What get me a lot of people in my home town that get in line with the more expensive cars/trucks will show up in line 2-3 hours ahead of time I'm guessing their afraid of having to wait any longer to get their free food.

Plus if you can afford to driver a $50,000 - $75,000 vehicle and are getting free food my thought would be try possibly living within your means. I have no problem with anybody on hard times or scraping by, but what bothers me is the people who don't need the hand out taking advantage of the situation.

I’d say of people at the top end are getting it that don’t need it then someone at the bottom end that really needs it won’t be getting it, big difference between the needs and the wants.

Watched a guy tied up next to me come down and dump out a 50 lb box of frozen sockeye onto his deck. He was cutting it up for halibut bait. Said he got it at the food bank

They have a thing around here called Ruby's Pantry. Pay $20 for a share and you get a mix of food, really varies from one time to the next. No income requirements etc , and you do see some of the most wealthy penny pinchers around using it! Unfortunately a lot of it is very processed and less than high quality. But sometimes it's a heck of a deal. You always get your money worth and it puts a lot of close dated and outdated food to use that might otherwise go to waste. I'm not affeaid of eating well kept barely outdated food of most sorts, some people think you pass that date and it's automatically garbage. Happy trapping! ScottW

If you worry about somebody of means getting a handout that dosnt need it you never will get any in the hands of those that do . It's like the vaccine roll out they were so worried about somebody bucking the line they were willing to throw away a third or half of the doses away when the approved recipients didnt show rather than anybody not approved getting a dose

They had it in our town around Christmas time. We picked up 4 boxes to give out to 4 families that didn’t have transportation. We ended up coming home with 4 cabbages, 2 bags of carrots and 2 bags of potatoes because all the people wanted were the frozen stuff and the milk. They didn’t want no veggies. In each box was a letter from Trump about the free food. Can’t quite remember what it said.

I worked at a youth academy before going to the Sheriffs Office it was considered a non-profit but the owner in the front office was considered a for profit management company. Trucks would shown up loaded with things I never knew were even considered a commodity and it was good stuff thousands of dollars worth but in the end it saved the front office money yet they always complained about the food costs.
