Im not the gardener, the wife is. Shes prego and will pop right about planting time so i guess its my job this year. Shes always went to 2-3 different stores to buy plants and seeds and she has started them inside. I like sittin on my butt and ordering if i can. How does this catalog compare to store prices or other catalogs?

About the same as Burgess and many others. Are they all in Illinois?

I would not use them. Did several years ago and had trouble getting the seeds and the trees I ordered were much smaller than they were supposed to be and some had rotted roots. When that catalog comes it goes in the trash immediately.
Try Harris seed, Jung seed, Johnny’s seed, Burpees, Rupp, NE seed. Even totally tomatoes and seeds and such are better than farmers

Bean seeds, corn, cucumber, squash, okra and pea seeds are cheaper at the local feed and Co-op stores.i
I usually order tomato, pepper and other seeds that the feed and co-op stores don’t carry. Most mail order seeds are very pricey for just 15-30 seeds.and then some add high shipping prices. Some don’t charge shipping.
Burpee will Rob you on shipping prices.
And seed potatoes are way cheaper at the feed and co-op stores.

We had Farmer Seed here in Faribault for decades. It closed in 2019. Everyone misses it.
