So i was talking to a furbuyer from missouri, asking him if a large otter board was ok to use on the smaller coyotes(they are). He said he used a fence picket. Leave fur out, insert fence picket then turn the picket so it holds the fur open. Anyone heard of doing this?

If your going to use fence boards. I would start out with the skin out and once the skin has dried a bit I would turn It fur out and repeat the process. Unless you have air actually blowing up Into void I don't think your going to get that skin dried with out turning It.

But I think you ought to buy some coyote boards and do It the right way.

I use the small coyote NAFA spec board...I know NAFA is toast, but their small coyote board fits the smaller coyote in this section well...Might work for you too.
