Cooper tire here in nw Ohio (Findlay) just told their workers today that they've been bought out by Goodyear. For all of you stock watchers, it may be a good time to bail or buy. Dunno. I have a lot of friends that have worked there since high school that are worried saying Goodyear has plants already shut down?

I've run a Cooper tires in the past. A good tire. Be a shame if they stopped making them.

Always liked the non-directional mud grips.

Cooper may be OK tires now but Goodyear will make sure they do not stay that way. They will drag them down to their level just like Bass Pro did to Cabelas.

Also Tractor Supply is buying Orscheln Farm and Home. Have both around here and Orscheln seems to have better quality. TSC is just china mart with feed.

Now will have to look for a new tire. 4th set of Coopers! GY will never be able to make as good a tire as Coopers and at their price point.
