If there's a mink tunnel going through try to slide a 120 in it.

Like Northern Trapper said. Ive also had luck catching mink traveling up streams towards larger bodies of water. If there’s mink sign, I would set in any snow tunnels they may have(you might wanna paint your 120 white). If there are no tunnels to be found, try finding a small creek, they may be moving under the water
Good luck

May God bless you and give you tight chains

For mink and muskrats a very effective 120BG trap set is a 3-4 foot culvert box. No bait or lure is used. Placed in small feeder streams it will take any rat or mink travelling the stream as it seems they cannot pass up exploring the tunnel.

I'm thinking BCT uses his pan triggers here?

No I have not. In blind trail sets an animal may often step or jump over the pan, thus triggers standing up like a grass stem are more appropriate in blind trail sets. I only use pans in baited sets with the trap set close to the bait so that the animal is stable at the bait and standing on the pan or bumping it with their head/neck while working the bait, not moving through the trap to get to the bait.

Around here, the easiest method we've found seems to just snare them !
Those tracks in and out of every rabbit hole along the river banks are hard to hide in a foot of snow.

I don't have any pics, but I made a mink box which is just a little bit bigger weasel box with the front not screwed in and slots cut into the side of the box. Make it just big enough to fit a 120 body grip in the box.
