Took the wife and went to Deep Creek lake ice fishing for a couple days.It was around 10 degrees and 30 mph winds so didn`t get to search for fish much but still did ok. [Linked Image]

NICE PERCH!

Do your perch out east have the parasites like so many other areas have? They're supposedly still safe to eat but...I'd much rather that they didn't have worms if I'm gonna eat them.

Perch are the best eating fresh water fish there is, IMO.

No that`s a 16 inch walleye.Some other guys I talked to caught some nice walleye while we where their but they where using snowmobiles to get where they where fishing.

The blotchy pattern made me think sauger but I see the white tail fin patch now. Could be a saugeye. Either way, nice catch and good eating.

I go down in the spring and fall just go thru the week you will never go on the weekend if you do it once. And if your there Friday try to be loaded and off the water by 11:30 am it gets crazy

Nice hump backs.Good snack right there.Why aren't any of their eyes missing.Best perch bait is a sweedish pimple with a perch eye on it.
