FriarTuck OP trapper Joined: Dec 2011 Posts: 480 Baudette MN	Just curious, I have always boiled, dyed, waxed traps in a big drum outside over a wood fire. I am thinking of trying to dye my smaller traps in a big turkey roaster, and wondered if anyone has tried it already and if so, how it worked out? Thanks Jim

jabNE trapper Joined: Aug 2013 Posts: 8,346 Firth, Nebraska	I wax mine in a crock pot. Dye them though in big boiling pot over a fire. Jim Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

Golf ball trapper G Joined: Dec 2014 Posts: 2,945 E central Il	I use the turkey fryer also but use a 30 gal drum and about ten or fifteen gallon of water. A cover helps with heating .
