I feel great other than a slightly runny nose. But they have basically shut down the island because of my positive test. I didn’t think this was still a big deal but I guess I was wrong. Who else has it? Is it still serious everywhere else?
Here’s the email the city sent out yesterday

So if they say it’s community spread, does that mean they can start searching for the person that recently travelled and brought it to you considering if the area you live in isn’t very populated?

From what I’ve researched and even told, it doesn’t have to come from anyone, Could have come in on a shipment of supplies or food.

Sounds to me like an angry mob with pitchforks and torches is next.
Take care!
Moosetrot Haha I know. The mob is way more dangerous than this flu.

If all you have is a runny nose then why did you get tested? The test was free and that’s one of the rules on the island. If you have one symptom, you need to get tested before returning to work. Jumperzee that’s a good point LOL. I’ll call the doctor and tell her the mystery has been solved. It came from the wolves.

I think it came from one of Jurassic Park's selfies.

Walleyed has first dibs on my traps. Big Sky that's a good idea. I did take two tests yesterday but I'll see if I can get a third today or tomorrow.

Dylan - you sure it isn't something you caught from hugging those wolves? And just like that, wolf trapping banned in Alaska! Lol

A friend of mine's wife tested positive for the virus. He couldn't believe it because his wife hadn't left the house in 2 weeks. Just him and her live in the house, so he assumed he must have brought it into the home from work. He got tested and was negative. His wife went back to the testing place two weeks later and tested negative. The milkman maybe?? You can't give a virus to someone unless you are infected. You can't just "bring it into the house".
