Wolfdog91 OP trapper Joined: Jul 2013 Posts: 11,895 Amite county Mississippi	Adding some pit pans to a members jump traps and I've never really messed with them too much so I a little confused here, for y'all who use these alot does this look right? Otherwise if you have good pan tension and a clean break it looks good to go. If you get the pan too low the spring will hit it on the way up... You should not have to do anything to the dog. I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!

Looks to me like it needs to slide away from the center of the trap a little.Then pinch the loop on the dog shut some.Then bend the frame of the trap that the dog is attached to away from the pan some.All this will get your dog and pan setting level.
