Being a horse lady, I thought you would like this pic Sharon. The description called it a Norman War Horse.

What an amazing horse...looks like the old world Belgians crossed with a Russian or Irish heavy draft.
Yes, the ladies rode English and Dressage...what clean pristine attire.
To sit atop a being like that is to feel on top of the world. The power of movement in sheer muscle under the saddle can only be understood by experience.
Having ridden many breeds , from small to greatest, I have to say, next to the tallest on earth warmbloods , like my Irish import 19 hand Bailey, who are not horses, but AIRCRAFT to pilot, in cross-country jumping and dressage, the drafts , who have contributed in a mighty way to warmbloods , as the Arabian has, are mighty in heart and strength admired .
You haven't lived till you have watched a team of eight marching past you , the power in the ground felt as they move in unison past you...chains rattling, big breaths heard, a seismic earthquake in those cleat hoof shoes leaving tracks in the heart forever.
Thank you, KZOO, for the thought and share.
A picture does speak a thousand words.

Had to click on the link to make sure you weren't saying your cousin looked like the horse.
