I trap where 4wd is a necessity. I agree. Anything other than a 4X4 pickup or my side by side is worthless to me as a trapping vehicle.

Side by sides are nice, Yamaha Viking is what I use. It isn’t mine but comes in handy.
Would be better if it had an enclosed cab.
But similar to the one pictured.

That thing looks like it would get hung up easy in rough country with the long wheelbase and small wheels.
Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

It looks longer than it is. Picture seems deceptive. Maybe 6’ doesn’t hang up for me.
But, I see what you mean, could hang up on the right terrain.
Gets used at my adopted dads camp in Maine, no issues there either.

I've noticed the used P/U market isn't what it was years ago. This is mostly due to fuel prices.
Years ago a lot of people drove a P/U as a car for daily transportation. Fuel prices have put a bit of a stop to this practice as it cost a lot to drive a P/U as a daily driver. Good, low mile , non-abused P/U's have gone by the wayside as they eat fuel. Most P/U's now are bought for heavier use/commercial use. Good low mileage , non-work use are kinda rare now. The used market reflects that.

Just wish it had a longer bed.. I've got one pretty similar, but mine has the Ram Boxes. They are awesome! Jump out of the truck, pop the lid, grab what you need and go.

It will probably surprise you how long it will last. In the mean time squirell away as much money as you can toward your next truck. Good luck.
