I'm thinking of getting a 350 legend. That seems to be the only kind the walmarts around here carry. Even the scalpers can't move it. I see it listed for sale everywhere. I hope they choke on it.

Found some CCI 22 target at Dunham’s, $10 a box of 100. Walmart hasn’t had for months.

I posted on here a couple years ago that you could get 5000 thunderbolts for $129 shipped. All I heard was how dirty and cheap they were. They are $50 a brick of 500 now. They must be cleaner now, there seems to be more interest in them now. I find it funny.

No sense spending a dime to kill a coyote if you can spend a nickel. It does seem strange on the heels of a 22 shortage then availability, a lot of people did not buy a few bricks of whatever good ammo they like to hunt with or target shoot with. So now they are buying whatever they can get for whatever price they have to pay. The guy that is nervous because of the blm etc riots and so buys him and his wife a cheap hi point 9mm for in case I get. They take a class on firearm handling and go to a range to practice up. They never figured on needing to be armed and so are at the mercy of the ammo gougers. People who are on this site though? Most of us have been in a home with firearms since birth. You would think we would have enough to trap and hunt with for a couple years anyway. keep an eye out for that chance to buy at a reasonable price as they do come along albeit rarely.

I did the same with my cheap .22lr stash. This season I moved to a .22cal pcp pellet rifle for dispatch. Worked as well as a .22lr on everything I tried from coyote down. Not only cheaper but pellets are also on the shelf.

I've got 6 ammo boxes full of ammo and some loose boxes sitting around too. But, I shoot a lot with my teenage son. I owe my teen Sunday School class a trip to the range that I promised a year ago. I have all I need and more but if I take half a dozen people to the range for a few hours - which was a pretty common occurrence, I'd be out. So, I'll shoot what I need to shoot but the fun range trips are on hold.
