I found what was once, around 1980, a hundred bucks, in an old bug out bag. That is 400 B's or in US currency, not nearly enough to round up to a penny. On the bright side a couple more years of multiple trillion dollar spending bills, and our currencies ought to be somewhat similar. Man who mistake shillelagh for fairy wand; see pixie dust, also.

Yeah, we had a young guy, either a grad-student or just out, at our facility for about 6 months about 15 years ago. He had either 1 million Zimbabwe bills or maybe they were even 10 million "value" notes. And worth almost nothing in USD. Unreal. How much of the current rise in copper is from poorer people and places trying to get some commodity in their hands that may spike in value in the future when fiat currency is about all useless? Smaller or newer Chinese businesses used to use physical copper has collateral in various loans back in the first decade of the 21st century. I don't know if that is happening again or if other places are doing it, but something other than just "business" has caused that scrap to go up 30% or so in the last couple of months...
