It seems like the season is days from ending by the time they get here seldom do they land in my area.

No we don't. They build watching blinds, book bus loads of viewers to the platte River basin where a jillion of them congregate in during migration. There are viewing packages, donations, foundations, trusts, you name it. The central flyway here is like a funnel where I'd wager lions share of them pass through on migration. I dont see us ever getting a season here. The viewing is big economy in early spring here. Jim

Shooting some won’t hurt anything but may reroute the birds.

I have seen SC in Neb in Nov. But it does not compare to the numbers in the Spring. Big Business in Kearney!
