There's theory and then there is reality. You can't count on the critters to cooperate either as not all stops will have X # of places for sets. Weather can also play a big part in the equation too. High/low water can make or break you rather quickly. And do you have the numbers of animals you need to make it work? What about competition? But now saying that, I know of guys who ran 100-125 traps a day w/o any major problems. I would say on a good area, you might need more than 80.
Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.

I don't understand why you would run any type of long line with fur prices for the above animals mentioned being so low. not to mention you are only willing to catch them and not the other furbearers in those areas .with fur prices being so low just go set some traps and don't put all the added pressure on yourself with time constraints. you are not going to make a bunch of money anyway so you may as well do it for fun.

I want some of these secret messages you send everyone. I'm sure they are amazing. I keep hoping I’ll get one of those one day too. I’ve heard from others he gives sound advice.

I got the secret PM and was very appreciative for it I'm begging for the darn thing. No such luck yet. I've all but given up on running much of a line this next season, unless gas keeps going up. Oil should follow or at least it used to. I might act like I can for 10 days again this season. It's always fun to act like you can survive off trapping (fur). It's been much more enjoyable for me to watch the poofs in the thermal the last month or so.
