Again, The Immigrants / The New Land.
Challenge to be free was done by Chuck Keene, a local filmmaker in Juneau. It was loosely based on The Mad Trapper of Rat River.

Absotively, Posolutely this one. I saw them both at the theater when I was a kid. They are available on Netflix.
